A Long Walk on the Beach

Sunshine is a powerful.
Rest is essential.
Having no schedule is freeing.
These three sentences describe my final week of winter vacation that I spent in Florida.  I dedicate this post to my Grandma as my “thank you card.”

While I was in Florida I layed out in the sun, went for walks and runs on the beach, slept, ate and drank wonderful food, completed a puzzle, read two books, and spent time with my Grandmother.

Sorry, I have no great stories of adventure; the purpose of my time there was to relax.  I do, however, have some pictures to share with you.  Please enjoy.

As Anne Morrow Lindbergh says in her book Gift From the Sea, all times of vacation must end as to not miss out on what the rest of life has to offer.  I praise the Lord for a wonderful time of rejuvenation and that school begins again tomorrow. :)
